The best thing about documentary photography is that you don't need to get ready. These sessions are about capturing a little snapshot of your family life right now. So if that's eating lunch in your pyjamas, that's fine by me!

Before your session I'll talk you through what to expect and we can discuss options for the day. Maybe you'd like your session at home, or out and about, or a bit of both? Perhaps you'd like to include a few group portraits or get your family pet in the frame too? Whatever your requirements, I'll tailor the session to you and your needs and if on the day your children have other ideas, then that's OK too.

During your session, I'm as much there to blend in with your family as to join in. Playing along with your children, holding a baby when you've run out of hands or magicking a wet wipe out of thin air right when you need one. All the while capturing those little moments and little connections that so easily get missed when you're right there in the middle of it.
